At Lights Out 7 over the weekend Shawn Ellington drove his Murder Nova to a round win in the X275 class. This round wasn’t a normal win, as he won breaking the beams with the REAR tires rather than front bodywork. Typically the timing beams (aside from staging) are broken with bodywork, breaking the beams with the rear tires is obviously a major disadvantage. Try to wrap your head around the fact his rear tires were a tenth ahead of his competitor’s front bumper while in a wheelie, it’s one mighty impressive feat.

My hat’s off to you Shawn Ellington, may more crazy awesome runs be in your future.
